Sharing Indigenous Music

Wheels of Harmony

Our school tour sharing Indigenous culture and music along with traditional opera with mostly rural and Tribal schools.

Wheels of Harmony

The next Wheels of Harmony tour is slated for Fall 2025. If you are an educator interested in bringing the tour to your school, please fill out this Google form.

ABOUT

Thanks to a generous grant from The Elise R. Donohue Charitable Trust, with additional support from the Montana Arts Council, Applied Materials, Zoot Enterprises, XY Planning Network, and AdvicePay,  we launched our first-ever school tour in April of 2023. Wheels of Harmony shared Indigenous culture and music along with traditional opera with mostly rural and tribal schools.

Today, we are generously supported by Bozeman Montessori, Spruce Charitable Trust, The Charles A Weyerhauser Memorial Foundation, the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundaiton, Montana Arts Council, the Sidney E Frank Foundation, Tour West, and the B.W. Bastian Foundation.

GOALS

1.     To expose as many students as possible to Indigenous music and culture, including opera.

2.     To engage students in meaningful discussion about Montana and the United States' Tribal Nations

3.     To encourage students to consider music performance as an option in their life.
