Education & Community

Founded in 1979, Opera Montana is Montana’s first professional opera company. From its early days presenting one grand opera per year, Opera Montana has grown to present two operas and one musical theatre production each season. Its school tour, Wheels of Harmony, shares Indigenous music and culture each spring. Community programs like the Veterans Chorus and partnerships with other local organizations each season help make Opera Montana an organization that creates great art while serving the community. Opera Montana is committed to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
